We provide patient transport services for the ambulance service. Based in Skipton we are looking for some new members to join our friendly team.
You need a full driving licence, preferably a first aid at work certificate (3-day), be over 21 for insurance purposes. Ideally some experience of driving larger vehicles.
The work involves moving and handling of patients from their own homes or places of care to attend hospital or care appointments and back again.
You will work as part of a 2-person team, 1person driving and 1 person attending to the patient. Patients may be walking, require some assistance or they may be stretcher patients.
Starting salary - minimum wage, rising at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
Part time, full time, various shifts

Suitable applicants will be over 21yrs old with a full driving licence (held for at least 1 year) with no more than 3 penalty points. A first aid qualification is ideal but training is available.
Applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends and undertake our online statutory and mandatory training, safeguarding, equality and diversity, dementia awareness etc.
You will also be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Mechanic required.
Person with experience of light commercials (preferably Ambulances) to work part time in Skipton. Main duties will be to service and repair a small fleet of C1 and under vehicles.

The Oak Valley Team also providing and placing serviced and regulated fire extinguishers across the site; ensuring the site is safe and the smooth running of the event! With the oak valley team now finished on site, a big well done to all who took part in a tremendous challenge and look forward to seeing the prudential team on the next event!
